Declan Baldwin began his motion picture career in New York City in the summer 1985. A veteran of more than thirty five feature film and television productions, Declan has worked in almost every capacity and genre. His most recent credits include producing the Emmy nominated Saturday Night Live in the 2000s "Time and Again" (2010) and co-producing The Best and the Brightest (2009/10); the new comedy starring Neil Patrick Harris. Other producing credits include Today's Special (Co-Producer), release date is Oct. 8, 2010) and Adventureland (2007/08) by writer/director Greg Mottola and with producers Ted Hope and Anne Carey for Miramax & SKE. Waiting In Beijing (Co-Producer 2006/07), a China/USA Co-production shot on location in China and France. In 2005/06, both The Education of Charlie Banks and Ira & Abby made their way into production. The Education of Charlie Banks (Co-Producer) is the directorial debut of Limp Basket front man Fred Durst. The Education of Charlie Banks premiered at last year's Tribeca Film Festival. The film stars Jason Ritter, Jesse Eisenburg. Ira & Abby was the winner of the 2006 LA Film Festival Audience Award . Ira & Abby is the Breakout Pictures follow-up to their indie hit Kissing Jessica Stein. The film features Francis Conroy, Fred Willard, Judith Light and Robert Klein as the parents of Ira (Chris Messina) and Abby (Jennifer Westfeldt). Magnolia Pictures released the film in September 2007. Declan also produced The Architect (2004), the HDNet Films production featuring Anthony LaPaglia, Isabella Rossellini and Oscar winner Viola Davis. The Architect was also released by Magnolia Pictures. In years prior, Declan co-produced the Focus Features release Far From Heaven, directed by Todd Haynes and starring Julianne Moore and Dennis Quaid. Far From Heaven received four Oscar nominations in 2003 and swept the Independent Spirit Award s, including Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Lead Actress and Best Cinematography. In 2001/2002, Declan produced The Laramie Project, a co-production for HBO Original Films and Good Machine. The film received a National Board of Review Award for Best Film Made for Cable Television and a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Television Movie. For his efforts on The Laramie Project, Declan was one of the 2002 Emmy nominees for Outstanding Made for Television Movie, a David L. Wolper Producer of the Year nominee at the 2003 Producers Guild Award s and a recipient of The Humanitas Prize. Declan's other producing credits include Storytelling (Line Producer), the 2001 New Line Cinema release directed by Todd Solondz, featuring John Goodman and Selma Blair; Rough Magic (Co-Producer) starring Russell Crowe, Bridget Fonda and Jim Broadbent; and The Dark Half (Producer) starring Timothy Hutton and Amy Madigan. The Dark Half was adapted from the best selling novel by Stephen King and directed by George A. Romero. Declan also served as the Line Producer on the remake of Romero's 1968-landmark film, Night of the Living Dead. Other production credits include: As Good As It Gets, Sleepy Hollow, Meet Joe Black, The Mirror Has Two Faces, 28 Days, The Ice Storm and Ride With The Devil (both with director Ang Lee). Declan Baldwin is a native New Yorker and a member of both the DGA (Directors Guild of America) and the PGA (Produces Guild of America).
